IMPORTANT DATES AND REMINDERS FOR ALL CLUB SECRETARIES & OFFICIALS
JANUARY – with the inception of each New Year
Clubs MUST have already submitted their :-
Forms A [Registration of Clubs/Officers & Members]
Forms B [ Payment of Affiliation Fees to both Bowls England & Surrey County]
Forms C [Entries to and payment for County/National Competitions]
NB. No entries will be considered after due date.
ALL items for the New Year Book including Prize Winners
photographs must have been submitted to the County Secretary.
FEBRUARY
Forms D [County Match Applications plus Presidential and Past Presidents Matches] will have been sent out and will require EARLY response and certainly before the 1st March]
MARCH 19th last day for return of Forms D.
MARCH 31st last date to apply to Bowls England for anniversary games in the next season.
JULY 31st Last date for new Clubs to apply for affiliation for the forthcoming Year.
AUGUST First Thursday in August County Finals Day.
AUGUST 4th Last date for Clubs to make application for Anniversary Game against the County.Also the last date for Clubs to apply to host County Matches or Other Matches including Competition Quarter or Semi Finals in the coming year.
AUGUST 31st Last date for Invitations from Clubs to County Officials requesting attendance at their annual functions. Submit to County Secretary.
SEPTEMBER 1st last day for submission from Clubs of their 20 nominations of members to serve as Executive Councillors .No nomination forms but nominations to be submitted in writing – counter signed by President and Hon. Secretary of the Club (with short CV of service). Area Committees to submit their nominations Separately.
SEPTEMBER – mid month a notice will be sent to ALL Clubs advertising the Annual Dinner with prior notice having been given to Prize Winners on Finals Day. In addition an end of Season Newsletter will be despatched with accompanying Form A [Registration of Club/Officers and Members]
SEPTEMBER 29th – last day for donations to the Benevolent Fund to ensure inclusion in current year accounts.
OCTOBER 1st – last day for receipt of applications for Xmas Grants from Benevolent Fund.
OCTOBER 21st – last day for receipt of Ballot papers in relation to any Councillor Election. [Any receipts after this date will be void]
OCTOBER 24th – Notice of AGM with accompanying Accounts should be sent out.
OCTOBER – final weeks …. TAKE NOTE of forthcoming ANNUAL DINNER and AGM [See County Calendar in Year Book]
NOVEMBER – Mid month RETURNS of Form A required.[Usually second week]
NOVEMBER – mid month despatch of Forms B [Affiliation to County and Bowls England] and FORM C [Competitions] to be returned THIRD WEEK OF DECEMBER.
DECEMBER – Third week of month returns of completed and paid Forms B & C.
DECEMBER 31st – Last Day for returns of updated Patrons Lists and Subscriptions.
